L-5HTP Elevates Seratonin Levels

Millions of people suffer from depression and anxiety because of low levels of seratonin. A neurotransmitter, seratonin is an important chemical messenger responsible for transmitting from one nerve cell to another. Seratonin has been referred to as the brains’ own mood-elevating and tranquilizing drug. In order to manufacture seratonin, the brain must have an ample supply of the amino acid tryptophan (amino acids are the building blocks of protein).
Many of the commonly prescribed anti-depressant drugs such as Prozac, Zoloft, and Paxil work primarily by increasing the effects of seratonin rather than the level of seratonin. L-5HTP is a natural derivative from an amino acid. It is a metabolic precursor to seratonin. It is safe, natural and inexpensive solution to many symptoms of seratonin deficiency syndrome.
Symptoms of seratonin deficiency include depression, insomnia, anxiety, eating disorders, and migraine headaches. L-5HTP readily crosses the blood-brain barrier and is directly converted into seratonin because L-5HTP does not compete with other aminos, and can only be used to manufacture seratonin.

HOW TO USE L-5HTP
Take 1-2 capsules between meals or 1 capsule at bedtime. Dose range is 50 mg to 150 mg per day. Begin with highest dose necessary to achieve results. As symptoms subside, decrease to lowest possible maintenance dose.

DO NOT USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH PRESCRIPTION ASNIDEPRESSANTS!!
